we call it plumbers putty or epoxy putty
you knead it like dough for a few mins to mix it then can work it for 5 min to shape it and it sets like steel |

OPEL PARTS GREECE

According to your images the bumpers are the narrow ones as all of the European models.
Only the US have the wide ones according to their standards. The rear ones are like gold because they are difficult to be found As for the front ones at the moment exist in limited availability Anthony |

Here is my manta key holder, with an old OPEL logo ... and it's not made in China
Also another plastic part that needs to be recovered, now it's glued but some parts are missing. I'll take a photo when finished. Greeting to Opel Community, especially Gene and Dave, from Portugal |

You just solved a mystery here!!! In the 3rd picture, it shows a break down of the Manta front end pieces. I have a friend here in the US that has a VERY early Manta and his grill has chrome pieces on it I have never seen on any other Manta till I saw the picture, it's part #16 |

Great!!!
As soon as possible I'll scan the entire catalogue, and post a PDF file to share with everyone. Last week I've lost a manta and ascona original parts catalogue on ebay that was a really treasure (it was in English and German) ![]() Edit: I remenber that that I’ve some photos of that part… see the part 16 in my Manta, this part is the one that hold the light, and it's from hella. The part that holds the light in is part #18, part #16 is a chrome piece that dresses up the outer edge of the grill that the headlight shines through. Of all the Mantas I have seen over the years, they have always been black plastic of the surrounding grill, but, the Manta my friend has has a build date of 10/70 and he bought it in Germany on his way back State-side (US Air Force)
We have discussed his Manta on many occassions and he has a truly unique one, and one item of discussion was this chrome piece(s) |
