Unanswered: Poster of Manta Emblem (Drawing in b/w)
here is something special for all manta fans. It is a poster from the manta logo/emblem i made. It shows the drawing of a stingray in a very rare design style of “curve projection”. The special feature is the fact that this drawing consists of 865 straight lines. The – to the viewer – apparently darker and curved lines result from the pointedly approaching lines, whereby the overlapping line ends shift slightly. Have a look at it and find out a lot of informations (origin ...) Here on my german site you can find it (in english and deutsch) Manta Ray as a fascinating black and white poster! Very noble and unique! For diving enthusiasts and Opel friends and all those who are exceptional and sophisticated like. The drawing of the legendary Opel Manta Ray (emblem) from the 70th. (Artwork, I know it is very special. You will love it or hate it. However, give me some feedback.... thanks to all michael |

Yes you are right! It is really impressive!
But just as intriguing is its history. The original drawing was made 1973 in the sacred halls of Adam Opel AG headquarters in Ruesselsheim, Germany (where I grew up and still live, 10 Kilometers away from the factory, which was founded OPEL - directly at the root ;-)) Read his site, it's worth it!
