Unanswered: It's finally painted

After 6 years of flat black I broke down and painted the racecar. Just trying to decide on the GTE stripe, I wanted to do it, but it looks so clean all blue, any opinions??

And, again, sorry for the crappy picture. I'll get a camera one of these days

That looks sooo awesome. Leave it just the way it is. The only way that I would see stripes on this car is if they were white or silver but it looks so good as is it. Love the cowl.

From a spectator's perspective; I like something distinctive to make it easier to follow multiple cars' progress from the sidelines. Additionally, race cars with lots of ground effects make it difficult to recognize the model.

Two thin yellow stripes offset along the edge of the hood, roof, and trunk would make it quite distinctive. Of course, making a single wider yellow stripe that says, "OPEL" would be the end-all.

What paint color did you use? It looks like a color shifting paint in the photo, but that might just be the angle of the shot and the direction of the sunlight. Looks pretty good the way it is. But if you want to go faster, add stripes
