Benji;
There is no "kit" to do this, but, it can be done, I just did this myself about 2 years ago. What you need is a 71-75 Manta or Ascona (1900 we call it) that's wrecked, rusted, or just stripped, that is a 4-spd or manual trans model. The two MAIN pieces to get, if nothing else, is the little piece of firewall next to the battery tray, where the clutch cable comes through the firewall, AND the whole cutch/brake pedal assembly. The rest, the cable, trans, clutch pack etc, can be found/bought easily. Now, on the install, the firewall piece does not have to be welded on, it can be bolted on, if you get the piece with the flange and do your measuring correctly. The best thing though is to find the Manta or Ascona with all the pieces there. Good luck

Do the automatic and manual transmissions use the same support?

Don't forget to install a pilot bearing along with a flywheel and all your other clutch fix'ns. I believe he will also need a different driveshaft too.
