We ship to anywhere UPS or the USPS/DSL carries deliver

It is expense to ship anything now

The one carpet kit I have weighs in at 6 pounds with the padding

So whatever the cost for postage to your home for 6 pounds
from the USA = ??

Thumbs up Manta Carpet

I am very interested in new carpet for my 73 Rallye!

$225 sounds very reasonable since the carpet for my 911 is over $400 for the cheap version!

Looks like a bargain! As I stated, I paid $350 for new Manta carpeting which was not molded fitting. I have never put it in yet so can't comment on fit. Jim's carpet sounds like a great value if you need Manta carpet!

Apologies for not responding sooner - I was away for Thanksgiving. I'm in for 2 of the Manta carpet kits plus shipping to zip 15686.

Since my Manta Luxus carpeting is blue, I would only be interested in the proper blue to match. Mine is not worn that badly except at the drivers position. Plus I just put new mats in regardless. I would like to hear from the purchasers here when they get theirs how the quality is and perhaps some time in the future??

I have 7 committments need 3 more

Thanks again for your support everyone.

Almost there (just like the SD Chargers!)

Tom K. you are not sure about the quality of parts we sell

Let me assure you that Jim P and I will not sell parts that are not top notch and if there is ever a problem we will take care of it for the customer.

I will check into a blue colored drivers side replacement for you
if it is available and at what cost.

I agree quality parts are very important to our customers and for our beloved Opels.

Our motto is "our customers are # 1" and we stand by that.

Now they have a male and female 'die' to form the carpet from. The new carpet is then steamed, and inserted in between the new dies, and clamped under pressure for a bit until it cools off. Voilą...formed carpet!
Sounds expensive ?

My understanding is that once the tooling costs are paid for, the cost per carpet is cheap because the entire operation take about 5 minutes to perform, versus an hour or two of hand labor to cut/sew a carpet kit. So if you had enough buyers....

Count me in on the Manta carpet order. I need it in black with the loop pile for my '73. Now I can finally pull out the nasty pieced maroon indoor/outdoor carpet a dreaded PO installed! Shipping would be to 53097. Depending how they are shipped, if it would be just as good to ship two together, maybe mine could be shipped to Pete and I could pick it up from him? If cost difference isn't that much, it could just be shipped out separate. THANKS for getting this going!

10 kits ready to ship on 12 09 08

Thanks for all the support on this project from the 10 Opel Manta owners that
have stepped up and made a committment to purchase them

The good news is they will be ready to ship on December 9th so I need all those people who have one ordered to pay asap so I can have them shipped out in time to beat the Christmas rush.

I need Pay Pal payments sent to Usaopel@usa.com along with your ship to address. These kits will be shipped via UPS as they will not fit into a flat rate USPS box.
2 kits can be shipped in one box 30 pounds in a BIGGER BOX could bump the rate up to an oversized 1. 25 X 21 X 7 is an approximate size for 2 kits

To compute your shipping cost go to UPS Global Home and enter 15 pounds in a box that is 32 X 12 X 12 from 92595 to your address. Should be no more than $22.00 to $26.00 from here to Florida
After that just add that cost to the $225.00 and send the $$$ to Usa Opel

IF you want to pay by Credit Card we are HAPPY to process American Express and Discover Card payments via phone, also Visa Mastercard if need be. Just call Jim AFTER 9AM PST (12 noon EST) @ 760 497 5360 to place your credit card order.

THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE STEPPED OUT AND UP IN FAITH
You will not be dissapointed as the manufacture (60 years in the auto carpet business) and Usa Opel will both stand behind the quality of workmanship and the delivered product.

I am already a happy customer and my 1970 Kadett Wagon will be completed now that I have ALL the good quality carpeting to finish it.

So please respond asap with your payments and it is now off to the races !!

Happy Holidays everyone !!
Opels Forever!

I have picked up a kit for my 1970 Kadett Wagon and it is all sewn very nicely and fits just like the original old carpets I matched up against the new kit. The edges have a nice binding sewn in too. Very good quality workmanship from a company that is 60 years in the auto carpet business.

got my carpet kit and it is excellent

Fitting is done while it is installed, meaning that there will be cuts that the installer will need to do, i.e. cuts for the seat mounts or triming off the excess carpet above the gas pedal (if need be) or cutting the holes for the seat belts All other stress cuts are made. Some trimming of the padding is necessary too.
All in all it is a do it yourself installation however some people might want a professional to do the install.
The material is as good as it gets for automotive carpet
Let me know if you are in for one kit

Happy Holidays
Thank you in advance for your support
