weber 38 DGAS carb install?

Hello,

I'm pretty new at all of this and my first project is replaceing stock carb with the webber.

i need to move the fuel intake valve to the other side and i dont know how to do it. is there a thread on the subject that i havent seen?
any help would be greatly apreciated and thank you in advance.

do yo mean the fuel inlet? if so you need to block off the current inlet hole, and drill the other side to the same size hole, then tap to fit the inlet tube. Or leave it like I did cause I didn't feel it worth the trouble.

ok ill just bend the copper fuel lin around then, thanks for the advice.

You should not use copper for the fuel lines , use only steel lines . Copper tubing will crack at the flared ends and also conduct heat very well . HTH

needed to make correction it is steel, like i said im new at this but the carb is in and running now im doing the timeing. thanks for all the input.
