Tubemiter
There is a program called Tubemiter.exe that when you input your tube size, it will print out a template. You tape the template around the pipe and then cut the pipe to the template. Perfect fit, ready to weld. Go to the following link and near the bottom is a program description with page print outs so you can see what its doing. You can also down load the program there. The program is FREE and will fit on a floppy so a old laptop in the shop or road would work well to have this with you. Damon Rinard's Frame Building Links

Hi All
I posted this as an answer in another thread although I thought it worthy of its own space. It has come in handy many times. Go to OzHPV - Giles Puckett's TUBEMITER>EXE and download the file "tubemiter.exe by Giles Puckett". This is a very small file 124KB and when executed does not load or install anything on to your PC. Run the file click "File" then "settings" put in your tube size and angles etc and a diagram is produced you can print, cut out, wrap around your tube mark and cut. very simple and accurate.
