Opel GT Front Curved Side Marker Lens New Hella Brand | eBay

Looks a little pale in comparison to this NOS lens

Yeah, but those aren't NOS. these are the aftermarket ones you can get on OGTS for $25 each. These lenses don't have the reflectors at the back half that all US models came with.

    OGTS aren't Hella.
I believe they also say OpelGTsource on them (I don't have one handy so I can't look)

Todd's ad states those are Hella. Hence, the caveat emptor.

    EDIT
It looks like one of his negative feedback was for this exact same lens. Check his feedback before buying.

I'm just trying to say that those posted on ebay are not original US GT lenses.

I did just look at his ebay posting and it does say they are ones found on German GTs.

Definitely not questioning that they are original Hella brand for the German GTs.

They didn't require the reflectors as the US GTs did.

In the feedback it says they weren't NOS.

The other link I posted was a NOS with a reflector. $150 is about what thos can go for but $100 is more reasonable for NOS WITH the reflector.

I spoke to the gentleman selling the US NOS lens this morning. Of course, it's all about supply and demand.

The description in link you posted about the splendid.de lenses varies greatly between the german and english version. The german description says "like" the original. The english description says "original".

Well I have good news and I have dumb news. I remembered to look and I have two complete sets which I put in a box and put on my desk to bring home. That's the good news. The bad news is I left them in the box on my desk. I don't know how good they are because they need to be cleaned up. More on Monday when I get to see them again.

LOL!!! Did your CRS (can't remember $H!T) kick in??? I know that feeling all too well. Was looking for my iPhone for a few minutes the other day, and realized I was holding it in my hand. :-(

    Thanks!

YEP, you got it. I get so pissed at myself sometime due to CRS, it drives me nuts.

    Favorite Replacement Wiring Source

Where do you all buy your replacement wiring online? I'm trying to keep my colors/gauge as close to original as possible.

Has anyone ever sold complete or partial wiring harnesses here in the states? I saw Splendid Parts Kaufhaus sells them, but have never seen anything in the states.

I do remember reading that in his book.

BTW, that shifter came out beautifully last night. I'm a backup switch, clutch cable, and six bolts away from pulling the engine. :-)

Don't forget the two ears behind the engine support crossmember. One is behind the heat shield on the passenger side. Speedometer cable?
