Is that the Calibra or the GT?

Okay, here's a more attainable Opel project for you: Wipe all the dust off that car and pull out the interior. You're going to have to do it eventually anyway. Go out every day and do one simple thing. Remove a screw. Wipe away some crud. Start the process of taking all the parts off the car. A screw here, a bolt there. Then you'll be able to patch that floor with beer cans and put the engine from your Astin Martin in it for track day.
What he said in bold. It's important. REALLY important to me.

We have a limited number of minutes/hours/days that we can do things with our lives. If you promise yourself, and keep the promise, that you will do SOMETHING, anything, in addition to the "job" you have to do, every day, then you can accomplish so much.

It was a new year resolution of mine a long time ago. I might d something for my Opels, or play with my projects, or even go online and learn something new but every day I do SOMETHING that means my day wasn't wasted on "work". Of course sometimes I cheat a little and say to myself that "cleaning the kitchen" counts.

Most days, however, have added value.

So, get out there. Do something every day. At the end of the year you might have done 365 extra things that you wouldn't have done otherwise.

Fortunately it's the yellow GT that has the seized engine but on the plus side I do have a spare Calibra 2.0 turbo engine sitting in the shed without a home, so maybe.

Good idea on doing one thing every day to your Opel. I'll start next week!

I mailed off my driveline to be rebuilt, once that get's back the Kadett will be back on the road for the first time in who knows how long. I'd only driven it briefly before I realized the clutch was shot (down to the rivets). Car has been converted to EFI and whole bunches of things done to it to make it roadworthy again, just waiting for my driveline...

Now why would I want to put a picture of a dog under my hood?

    I'm a cat person.
