Tentative thoughts on gettogether?
lets get a show of hands? i got myself my dad and a guy from ionia that all wanna do a meet, maybe the mason thing? i know we shot down the central meet idea, but i'm throwing it out anyways. i'd like to go 2nd week in august or whatever. i'm as versatile as i need to be.
my 'other guy' is driving a fully restored kadette that looks pimp. lol. and that and the 2 gts there, my fathers and mine. he's driving the 1.1 even so thats a treat to look at. thoughts? |

say i'm only positive i wrok..
that day i might work... but i'll post tomorrow as to what my schedule is. hopefully if no one has massive issues we can do it
regrettably, my gt broke down tonite, and i'm going to be tapping myself out trying to fix it, so i will not be able to provide food stuffs or whatever... i'd like to look at tht 19th as a better option... |

i'm going to officially say that the 12th is prolly a bad idea for me, my car is broke down in the driveway and i got 7 bucks to my name to fix it. needless to say i'm not thinkin its gonna happen. lol. either way, the 19th does in fact sound like a much more promising option for my father and i both (he's still gotta put paint on his and i imagine it'll be done by then.)

Hi all,
Did I miss it? I haven't been online in a while, but would love to get together at some point. In a couple weeks, my wife and I are going up to the UP for a week of crusing around and hiking, and we are thinking of bringing the GT. It is running well and takes less gas than anything else I have! |

Checking in....
Hi Mag, I am back! It's been a while. I haven't had the GT out for a spin in a long time. I got the block back from the machine shop months ago and haven't touched it. It has been a busy couple of months and I am weeks away from starting another massive project that will fill the winter. Nothing to do with the Opel, but plenty cool. I can tell you more about it once the financing is done. I don't want to jinx it.
It is good to get back on the forum and see all the familier names, still talking about the same old things! It is refreshing and comforting.... Take care, I will try to stop in occasionally. By the way, we didn't end up driving the GT to the UP. Good thing, too, it is a 14 hour drive! We had a blast driving thru the Porkupine mountains. The wife got a new Escape for the trip. |
