well guys, i'm still all set. got an oil change in it today, parking breaks fixed, fluids topped. going to go see what i can't do about adjusting the timing to be 'dead on' and we'll see how it goes from there.

i'll be leaving lansing around 11ish cause of the paintball game earlier at 10, and hope to be at said park a wee bit early. gonna stick around for a few hours possibly, and then double on back home.

prolly going to grab something that looks like lunch for the grille, depending on what my passenger (whoever she might be (yar!)) says.heh.

also, gonna bring with me two fully functional original clocks, just cause i know one of you guys out there might want one. hehe. but if anyone is looking for anything else too, let me know and i'll look through the garage to see if i can't turn it up.

I can't wait to meet you all!

I will get there about 1pm and start the grill. Who all is coming? My wife and kids won't commit, so it will be just me. The only reason it matters is that if it is just guys, the food prep gets way easier. I will bring about 10 brats, and I cook them up well. I can bring buns and some condiments also. Can someone else bring some pops, or should we just make it bring-your-own for the drinks.

I didn't think to check if beer was allowed in the park. I don't think it is, but with most of you driving a bit, that isn't all bad. I will bring a couple, just cause that is how I prefer to cook the brats! I hope everyone likes peppers and sour kraut.

Dan, if you have an extra voltage regulator, I would love to try it. Mine is acting wierd. I wasn't going to get a new big alternator until my new motor is closer to done.

See ya!

Steve, are you going to order up some good weather for Sunday? Last report I heard didn't look so good. Find out what Charles Goin has done the last 2 years at Carlisle. We had great weather. We're counting on you!

Darn, you are right. Well, there goes my first born. I will do the little weather dance tonight and we can see what yahoo says in the morning.

Charles, any other ideas? Rituals? Dances?

If the weather is good I will be there, I don't want to take my 14 month old boy out in the rain.

Barring any last minute trips from my company, I'll be coming. I put in a request for good weather. Since I won't recognize most (any) of you, I'll have to look for all the Opels. See you tomorrow.

It is a pretty small park, so finding the Opels will be easy. There is a pavalion there, I will try to grab it but it is first come first serve. Even then, you can probably reserve it and kick the squatters out! I should have checked into that.

If everyone brings enough basics for themselves and a little something to share, we should have plenty!

I can't wait to see you all,
Steve

well... someone show up. lol. i'm already here! not really... i drove to novi, spur of the moment, for some geek-fest con here. its been entertaining thus far, but since i'm already in detroit, i'm driving out there. hope to be there at about 1240 ish, and gone again by 2, cause at 3 my 'partner' is leaving with or without me, and driving back to lansing lonesome style just won't be my bag..... baby. lol. *goes back to homegrown beer, free sandwitches and the geekiest things ever...
