I think you'll find that Opels are a rare breed in New England, particularly over the past 10 years or so most of the 'undesireables' have been crushed. Finding a good rust-free car is getting tough, the best cars tend to come from the west coast or south-central US. But even those are drying up in numbers. Bill Daley Opel Parts (in North Brookfield, MA) used to have a thriving used Opel parts business, but the lack of suitable donor cars in New England means he has virtually no volume any longer...there simply aren't many cars left to pick parts from!
I'd keep an eye out on Ebay, Craigslist, and this forum for potential cars. PS, I think Terry was making a joke...one less CA resident means one less person there to share the tax loads! We all know Massachusetts is certainly not a tax-free state by any means! Bob |

Dis,
Sorry if you took offense to anything I wrote. It was a tongue-in-cheek comment about the CA legislature which is once again late with the budget which they plan to increase $6B while running a $15B+ deficit and asking to increase taxes. If it moves, tax it, if it's dead, tax it anyway. I have lived in IL, PA, MD, MA, NJ, and CA so I am well aware of the fact that moving from CA to MA will not bring tax relief. Terry |
