Question Opels on MY lawn event

Just curious to see if anybody would be interested in having a get together on my property in Northfield, VT sometime during the summer/fall.

I have 3 acres of land (mostly field) that is totally undeveloped as of yet. I will be building my house there next year hopefully. I would have to brush hog it down by then, but as the movie said "if you build it, they will come".

The only time it couldn't be is during the first two weeks of August.

RallyBob will become famous soon enough
I'm interested in going too. Looks like we'll 'almost ' be neighbors some day, as I bought 40 acres in Randolph recently. Won't move there for a number of years, but eventually I'd like to host an Opel event there as well. The front 'lawn' area is about 10 acres, and it's pretty much already cleared out.

The land is near the end of Fish Hill Road, so it's just off exit 4. I wish I had the cash to start building right away, but I think initially I'm just going to drop a steel building on the property so I can move some cars up there for storage. And cut some ATV trails just for fun.....

I'll do my best. I would love to get there and hang out with everybody, but my life/schedule is FUBAR... which is keeping me tied to the computer for extented periods of time.

What dates are we looking at?

I've witnessed this philosophy result in rapid multiplication of "projects", becuase now you have all this space to use.

With 40 acres those trails are more likely to become the rallycross proving grounds.

Ok, after nearly a year of inactivity....we've finally moved forward on the house and the driveway is being built now. The reason this has sat so long without any input from me is varied, but mostly because there wasn't a good access point for driving a GT or most any other car onto the property. So, now I'm definitely going to have an event this year, just need to figure out exactly when.

That's where you all come in. What month would you like to have it in? The end of June and beginning of July are out, I'm thinking early August but it could be later too.

At this point my GT is still not 100%, I have a frozen shifter (just reverse), and need to do something about the ignition as it has all the classic "worn out" symptoms. I also need to do the weber swap. Hmm...maybe if I gather enough experts around....hehe
