We have a German language forum in the Opel Clubs Forums. Contact me if any member wants to add a forum for clubs in their countries.

It pulls the posts from a "cache" so they do not show up right away. Hopefully, that will be corrected.

Looks like this program just translates a snapshot of the site. If you go from English to German, There is no reply button in the translated page.

I just set the only update option to daily. I uploaded a german language pack so most of the live site can be viewed in German by clicking on the language dropdown at the bottom of each page.

The ideal situation would be for cross posting in either language with auto translation....

I looked at an English thread translated to German and a German thread translated to English, it's been literally translated word for word, sometimes it's very amusing to read the translation

But I'm wondering why Italian was picked, according to me there are not any other countrys beside Italy that have Italian as language, on the other side if you take Dutch it's not only spoken in Holland, but also in Belgium, South Africa, Suriname, Dutch Antilles and in many parts of Indonesia.
[And don't forget a lot of people in Michigan have Dutch roots]

That was one of the 9 language options offered in the program. Dutch was not included.

Somehow I'm seeing everything in German and can't get it back to English. But that's okay, I need to learn another language, this is a good way to start.
Worse yet, I bought a tool at Home Depot the other day, the instructions were not readable by me. Purely Espanol. This giving away America to the Mexicans has gone too far.

Clicking on the first flag will return you to the live site in English.

This is amazing....very cool technology. We're getting closer and closer to that "universal" translator in Star Trek. Except is was live voice....

Clicking the British flag didn't do it, it was driving me nuts having all the control buttons and sidebars unreadable! Then at the very bottom of the page I found a language option, somehow I had been switched to "Deutsch" or something. There I transferred back to English.
I'll be OK now...

I figured it would be, Norbert. It uses Google and most of the "Technical" terms do not translate well. Is it close enough for someone who does not read English to get a good idea of the content?

I would say: Better than nothing

Fortunately most Germans can read English

One Mustang was euthanized the next morning.
