Check out our new Projects and Articles section where you can write detailed descriptions of your "How To's" or Opel projects. It has a very powerful editor box where photos, video's, Flash files can easily uploaded. Tables can be added along with copying and pasting directly from Word documents. Comments can be added to the articles.

There is a test section where you can try posting. Give it a try.

What are the limmits on photo's in total??

500 pixels max width for Photos. No other limits as far as I can see. 1 meg for audio (.waw,.mp3,.avi), 5 meg for video (.asf,.wmv )

Gary, is iit possible to have the capability for full screen editing? I loaded Phase I of the project from a Word doc complete with pics and drawings, but they didn't load the same as they were in the Word doc, I tried to edit the article in the little edit box and after numerous trial and errors, I just deleted it and reloaded it. Now I'll have to do one minor edit at a time to get the pics and text re-aligned. I like the way it loads everything I wrote and puts in the pics and drawings with a click of the mouse. Neat. I'll go ahead and load the rest of the phases tonite and play with them later.

Gary, I loaded 7 of my Willit? phases lasr nite and everything loaded just fine almost, except for the disparity noted in my previous post. This a.m. I checked them again and all the pics were gone. Whazzup?

Ron - The pic's did not upload. If you right click on the area, the properties are for a local drive. Not sure why that happened. I'll try a test later.

I guess there's a reason for things not going smoothly for me. While waiting for a fix on my tach problem, I spent the better part of two days editing and reloading , so far, the 7 phases of the Willit? engine swap project. So for you folks that want to know how it was done, it's all loaded, complete with text, diagrams and pics. Just go to the Articles/Projects forum and enjoy. Of course any comments, good, bad or indifferent are wlecome, you gotta remember this was my way of doing this and others may have a better plan or idea that could help.

I was debating the write ups for some of the projects. Getrag rebuild, Irmsher improvement, header for all models, just minor stuff. Then I got to looking at the delete and lockup and decided to keep the info to myself. BTW the turbo project is nearing completion. I don't have any moderators to lock me out of what I've written if it stays on my hard drives. Too bad even the dimensional data for twins can't be shared. Se la vi

Good call Dave. Keeping things to yourself is probably one of the best ideas you've had in a long time. That way no one gets hurt.

Hey Dave, just go ahead and load them in. You won't lose any of the data. Just put it in a word document, and do a copy and paste. If you have any pics or diagrams in the document, just go back in the next day and load them individually, then go back and forth between the forum and my articles to edit by guess and by golly. I've got to reload the pics and diagrams of Phase I, again. The seemed to slip out in ether land.
