How to instructions from the bottom of the map page:

....To insert your entry just click on your entry (Button in upper left) and center the new map on your location. The latitude and longitude will change automatically. Don't forget to enter some text to accompany your marker. Once entered clicking your entry will load an update page. If your marker doesn't show directly, just close your browser and restart it or clear your browser cache.

The author is working on a Zip Code/Country Code version.

ok Gary,
first thanks for the feature, it is nice. I put us in and then cleared cookies and internet cache but i can't see us. so i tried again and hit the same spot again and the map remembered our spot. CAN ANYONE SEE US on the map? Thanks for all the hard work Gary

Did all of you go over to the right and click on satalite view veiw after zooming in on your address in map view. It shows an actual arial photo of your house!!

This is cool. It took a while to figure it out, though! Unfortunately, the satellite won't quite zoom in on my house, but I can see the creek in my backyard and the street I live on! Amazing, this newfangled compooter tech.

Yes, I have been playing with it for about an hour I think. It is awesome. They seem to have more detail in the more populated areas. My house I can tell what cars are parked in the driveway!

Very cool, but a little scary.....

I have been using Google Maps since just about day one, BUT if you really want to see something cool, go to "Google" then "More" then "Google Earth". Download the program and have fun. I didn't know you could do what Gray did on Google Map though.

One Mustang was euthanized the next morning.
