. . . attend one of yours for a very long time, but one thing or another always seemed . . . well, you know! Momentarily on calendar again, but need to know . . . '09 Coupe acceptable? . . . local "touch-less" car wash available? . . . got some room on a couch/floor? . . . also very sorry Tom C. won't be there, first time at your meet, Vickie/Allen? Still think of him often . . . it's always going to be different without him there IMO.

I will be in PA for my regular business trip, so I will stop in Tallmadge on the way home for a few hours on Saturday (enough for a hearty dose of chili, garnished with bench racing). Hope the weather will remain nice.

Come on Up! Of course the Coupe is welcome... I'd like to look it over anyway! Plenty of room for you to stay as long as you would like. Yes, It will be very different without Tom. I used to talk to him almost every Friday and he was always helping me plan events. It took me a while to make myself post for this meet, but as several people in chat pointed out, Tom would have wanted us to Opel on.....

Looking forward to seeing you. If you come up Friday, let us know... I'm usually home by 3:30-4:00 and we can leave a key out for you.

Back home safely. No snow on the road until few kilometers before Goderich, so the ride was pleasant. I thought that NY has the most cops per mile but I think that OH beat them today.
Thank you Vickie and Allen for your hospitality. Chili was the first class! I wish I could have stayed longer but it was still great to see old friends again.

I stopped at Summit for dist. caps and rotors for the Opels on the way home. Found out they only had 1 cap but have a great policy for times when you're at the store and they don't have the part in stock. Free shipping on the part they don't have! I don't think they'll be making any money on that $7 cap.

Sorry Bob... mail order is just not the same. You will have to come and visit us -- Summit is only about 4 miles away. There is nothing like the "Full Summit Experience"

If that isn't enough we can take a short road trip - 2 Hours to Columbus and go visit JEGS.

Yes lots of pretty, shiney, go fast parts that cost a lot of money!
