Hello Everyone,

It is time to start getting your summer Opel Events on the Calendar. We will be having our gathering on Saturday, August 2nd. It will be here at our home in Tallmadge, OH. Allen and I will provide the food. Come and join us!

Just let us know how many are coming so we can have enough for you all to eat.

Well Vickie, now that I am getting my opels back (when there home i will know for sure) it may be very desirable for me to come. Mark us down for 2 (not for sure) but good chance.

I don't remember if I made a tentative reservation or not so this notice of No Show. My wife is a cyclist and she had to drop out of the MS 150because donations are really down this year. She has asked that I accompany her on the Morning Glory ride this coming Sunday morning starting at 4:30 am so any 3 hour drive afterwards is out of the question - maybe a 3 hour nap. Tom K from Springfield called me this morning and he said he and Amy are coming but he also learned that David Elyes can't make it either. I'm sure you will have a great turnout and the weather looks perfect they say. Enjoy!!!! Hope you can come down to the All German Car Show 9/14 in Columbus.

Thanks for opening up your home to all of us. You're special people.

Upon my situation with my opels, I will not be able to attend like I had planned but getting my cars back are very important, And maybe I will be able to drive one within the next 5 years. I would really like to get the 69 1.1 on the road. But she needs a lot of love to do that.
