    Tripple Twin throttle bodies

This I bought on ebay for a lot of money.....I am going to tune my 3.6 Irmscher engine (12 v CIH) next winter.

Somebody with knowlegde of this type of tuning on a stright six?

I have tried twin throttle bodies on 2.4 with huge sucsess and hope this will turn out well.
Max rpm on the 3.6 is mutch same as the 2.4 I guess.......but thinking about upgrade the rods and pistons.

It came with a management system and EGO sensor, but I have a stand alone with my Electromotive Tec 3r that can do mutch more than this old thing.......last picture.

    Nice 1

    I have a 1986 Monza and a 1991 Senator - love the 12v Opel six-cylinder motors.
Looks like your injection set up is a mid-80s 'race' type set-up ... it will need a modern control system as you indicate and it should be OK for the street.
If all else fails you can throw away the throttle bodies and hang a nice set of tripple Webers on to the intake manifolds!

    Throw away the throttelbodies

Weber can`t (automatickly) give more horsepower than this set of throttle bodies, and use mutch more gasoline. Due to the small diameter (45 mm) it will limit the Hk to about 330 Hp(dreamer ), but small holes giv more Nm and midrange drivabillety. That I like!
The car wil be stripped (and rebuildt) and used as a fun trackday car the times I dont use my Kadett C Racing car.......The Monza is a bit to heavy to race with....unless I join the series with weight/Hp raitio? Harri (Opeltuners)use the Monza as a trac car, but has done some work on the suspenition. I dont know how well it make the car oposite to the others?

the Monza should be a good track car if you get it down to about 1100kg,
as Harri showed there is pretty much work to do on the front and rear axles,
and if you can move the big CIH6 about 20cm back into the shell this won't hurt either.
    good race project anyway!
