i think it woud be a lot cheaper than shipping back from the states (well maybe not risse) if there are any there

Why complicate the issue?! You know that the 1.9 and 2.0 CIH engines are identical in stroke and both use forged steel crank and "I" rods, right?Originally Posted by vit.guimaraes
All you need is "H" rods then . . .
Rods were cast in '74-'75, but were forged '68-'73 for US engines. Euro engines may or may not be different over years used.
