CompUfire Problems Install Help Please Asap

So i have been reading all posts on Installing this unit and everyone seems to say super easy fires up first time well i just dont get it.


Mounted unit where windshield bottle is. Have wire from starter and wire from #3 fuse run to the power portion of the unit. Installed Tach adapter.

Have wires run from
coil 1 to cyl. 1
coil 2 to cyl. 2
coil 3 to cyl. 4
coil 4 to cyl. 3


Everything verifyed for tdc on #1
Now as far as the dizzy goes. I tried restabbing the Dist rotated to the number 3 spot. We tried to fire and Instant backfire from the exhaust.

So we tried reseting the everything back to TDC on #1 and then just spun the housing of the dist. to number 3 and get sputtering and small backfires and motor doesn't turn over.

What am i missing!!! Help!!!

Well 5th times a charm. Looks like we didn't line up the dot on the Dist. Trigger. Fired right up and set timing test drive later.
