Not so much parts, I have been trying for a while to find an exact replacement for the cap below (which I believe I got in Charlotte in 2010).

It's kind of a pale green (originally) and the grommets and strap holder have fallen out of mine and it will disintegrate soon. Anyway, it's kind of my trademark dome protector and I will gladly pay for a replacement or two.

I do have quite a lot of other parts to offer or trade should anyone be looking.

Vickie, I asked Bob this same question, and all he can remember is that if you had a bunch of loose springs, more than likely, the Wagon ones would be the tallest. I have a few sets of loose springs, but, I can't positively say any are from a Wagon, even if they were the tallest. I do have 3 sets of springs, but all are one the 3 Wagons I have...sorry

The taller springs could also be springs for dealer installed A/C. conversions. I started a thread some time back hoping to get some ideas on springs and their rates but it didn't go very far.

I just checked the springs that I have. GT springs seem to measure about 11 3/4" long and the springs that I have that I think are wagon springs are 12 3/4" long. Vickie if you need more info I could check the diameter of the material and the overall diameter of the spring as compared to a GT spring.

From my Opel note book from back in the day:
Ascona Wagon front springs: P/N 312052
Ascona Wagon rear springs: P/N 424337
Springs identified by paint splotch on coil.
Unfortunately I didn't note the colors of various springs in the book.
But if someone looked for the paint splotch rear color on a known original sprung
sportswagon that would identify what to look for.

Post #25 in this thread has a link with the P/N AND the color coding.

Yup I know but that list doesn't show P/N 424337 for the rear of the early model 54 wagons. Or any positions where those springs belong. My information does show positions but not the color of those rears.Just saying.

If someone could look at a early wagon rear springs that are original we can then determine the color. Or look in parts book for p/n 424337 color code.

BTW: My source for this number may have been this Car & Driver article so it could be a typo I suppose: Message - Opel Photo Gallery
    Message - Opel Photo Gallery

Update: On an old invoice I kept I noted the 424337 rear wagon springs are color coded blue/white.

: I THINK the number and color codes I listed were all front springs.

Robbie - I have one new one, one that I cleaned, tested and put a new filter in and two others that tested okay.

Crazy thing is I have 4 "new" ones with the same part number as the new one, but they are different. (set up for a fuel rail, not hose and different nozzle)

I have a polished FI '75 intake if anyone is interested.

1). I'm looking for a decent Manta/Ascona headlight knob (switch is fine as is, just need the knob).
2). Does anyone have a decent Manta carpet kit (Keith?)? I'm using one I got years ago from OpelJim, but the fit is ridiculously bad. I only need the front portion (seats forward), as the rear of the car is heavily modified and already complete.

I'll try to check for a good knob and will bring a nice aftermarket brown carpet kit that saw little to no use before being removed.

If anyone wants to save postage, I can bring these to Carlisle, and I'm still doing an Opel Group special on them: US$60 /pair for non-locking and US$75 /pair for locking...
These are the real deal straight from the factory in the UK...not the Chinese knock-offs all over fleabay!

I don't remember exactly what they look like but I might be interested in a set to put on the shelf for a future project.

    Pete;
Do us all a favor, measure the springs and see if there is a paint splotch, dab of paint on the springs, and what color it is, this would help for future reference.
