Hillsboro Texas car meet

Just in case anyone is interested, this was passed to me as a Hillsboro, TX car event.

This guy is an old-car enthusiast and has a few cars he shows. He's also fixing up an old car dealer garage to become a bit of a museum of all things old and car related. Anyone close enough to get out, and just want to see other cars (I know, they're NOT Opels....not everybody can be perfect! hehe), come to Hillsboro, Texas (S. of Fort Worth).

While I have yet to find my old '69 GT to re-take possession of, and don't have another yet, I'd still like to see a few roll in!

Besides, my wife is the Chamber & Tourism Director and she'd love to see more people come see our town! (I know, a shameful plug, but I gotta eat...right?)

WHAT ----- Hillsboro get-together / car cruise

WHEN ----- Saturday October 21st 2006 11:00 to Whenever ??

WHERE ----- 212 E. Elm St. Hillsboro Texas . The old Cole Ford store.

WHY ----- Why not ? Cruise to Carroll's Hillsboro building
( a 95 year old Ford Dealership - undergoing renovation ), drive your old car,
hang out with friends, and burn some dogs or whatever.

HOW ----- From I-35 Take the Hwy. 77 exit ( CONSTRUCTION PERMITTING !!! ) --
take 77/81 into downtown Hillsboro -- turn left (east) on Elm St .
( 2nd light on south side of the court house ). White building 2nd block on right.

****** You are invited to the above. Drive your old ride if you can. ******
We will have a " cruise in / pig out " Hot dogs or something will be
provided. You may bring your favorite party dish, desert, etc, but is not a requirement
to come by.

Old Gulf Station across from court house.
Several antique malls in downtown.
Hill County 's Beautiful court house.
