2007 Tacoma - Gathering of the Opels - Page 2

Well just maybe .I'm flying to kamloops 5 am pick up the opel hopeing they fixed it & traveling the coquhalla highway to the ferry to pick up my wife & traveling to Tacoma ( best western) for fri night. If the opels fine we'll be there.I'll be looking for the bearded guy with a tilly hat .Should be a blast . Is anyone going to a night club or anything for sat night??Take care EH!

Just to let you know, There is usually "Something" going on after the event, you just have to stay around and ask. Looking forward to meeting you and your wife. Yes, I think you will enjoy seeing all the Opels and meeting all of the Opel Lovers that attend our meet. Wish you a safe trip!!!

The BIG DAY IS ALMOST HERE!! We are going to have a great event tomorrow, July 21, at "Kelley's Kafe" 16302 Pacific Ave. Spanaway, Wa. From 11:00 A.M. til 4:00 P.M. Rain or Shine! We have several guests to be with us this year.... Gil Wesson and Dennis from Opel Gt Source, have already arrived from California to offer their vast knowledge of Opels to our members. Opel Jim, of Opels Are Forever, Calif. is on his way. We are hoping that JJ Wheatly and his Areo will be joining us also. "Oma's Gold" will be on display for discussion and Rod will be taking bids. There will be much, much more through out the day, ending with door prizes. So please come and join us for a fun day of Opels!! Well my summer motorcycle trip with my granddaughter was a lot of fun with the Gathering of the Opels in Tacoma being one of the major highlights. It sure was fun meeting all of you. Patience and I really appreciated everyones friendliness and the hospitality that was shown to us. We were impressed with both the number and quality of GT's at the meet. I think Troy (the young man) had a lot to do with her getting excited about the GT as well as Ashley's "Pinky" car. I'm hoping my home here sells soon so I can get up to Yakima and start the restoration of her car. Thanks again for everything, Lanny.
