Exclamation '07 Carlisle parts thread

WoW...just 70 days to go...
Time to start the 'wanted/I need to part with' thread.
If our glorious leader is going to be lollygagging around the showfield instead of being chained up down the hill , this thread may be more important to pre-arrange parts exchanges...

Well, I broke down and got two spaces once again. This time they are J-66 and J-67. So if anyone wants to put parts out without paying for a full space, the Opel co-op is open.

Is anyone interested in a full set of NOS trim rings or a NOS fan shroud? I also have a NOS set of styled trim rings for the Kadett.

Duane,

If that's a GT shroud, I'll take it, along with the mirror we talked about.

Parts from TN

I will have several parts coming, would like to know of any interest in them. I will be carring some parts for pete anostamos and I will have a 2.2 head with roller rockers. I could bring a 1.9 big valve head also. Charles I will have your 1.5 head. I will have an NOS gas cap for the GT...sorry Mac1TOM, got that one before you bid. A few other NOS parts as well. Rear lenses for kadetts and 1900s. I have an isky cam too the hydraulic combo version. Let me know of interest in anything and I will bring up

Manta Spoiler

If anyone coming to Carlisle has a front spoiler for a Manta I'm interested. It's a good opportunity to avoid having to ship one.

Keith,

I figured someone gave an offer for that gas cap. At least I know who it was. I wonder sometimes who gets to an eBay seller with a private offer when an auction suddenly ends because the item was lost or broken.

I talked to Harold last night about the 2.2 head. Is the 1.9 big valve head & cam used or newly done? Any specs on it & whats included with the head?

See you in a few weeks,
~ Tom

Head deminsions

Email me at keithlundholm@yahoo.com as my emails still are not working on site. I believe it is a chevy valve head or kit from C&R as I bought the car from PA years ago and he bought much of his stuff from there. It has the aluminum retainers -1 I replaced with a steel cap. I have not pulled it from the car to know exact deminsions yet.

Looking for a good hood for the GT, I have been tinkering with reinstalling for the past few days and realized that the hood is bent/warped or something, the bottom portion (towards front of car) of the hood is seperated with a pretty good size gap near where the hood hinge attaches.

I also have a full set of stock 2.4 valves complete with performance dual springs and custom made titanium retainers available. These would be a very nice upgrade for a 1.9 or 2.0 head.

If you have any questions about the 2.2 head just PM me and I'll try to give you the info that I have on it. I haven't used it but know a little bit about it.

I am in need of the plastic piece that moves with the auto shifter in a later model Manta/Ascona console. It's the black piece with lines that covers up the hole where the shifter moves in.

Also need an Ascona windshield.

Can't help you here. I'd like a new one myself.
