Just checked the long range forcast for sat the 2nd, It looks to be clear mid 70,but that can change every day but we hope for a nice weekend

well the forcast has changed for Sat, the 2nd, 20 percent chance for rain and in the low 80's. you just never know

So far still plan on giving it a shot with GT. Have been through the rain before, just about every time when going to Carlisle. Plan on using my Rain-X it's been known to stop rain for an entire weekend, just ask Mach1Tom.

I just watched the forecast for Sat and they say it is going to be great, small chance for a few light showers. Of course we all know how that may go.But i am hoping for the best,

anyone coming and need help getting here, call me at 765-430-6921, cell #. I am hoping for a great turnout and great weather

Thanks to Paul and Lezlie for bringing us together once again. Great turnout, with 7 GTs (not counting Paul's "mouse-mobile") and a very nice Porsche 356 Super 90. I enjoyed seeing some old friends, and making some new ones. The Rain-X worked like a charm, and with the exception of a few sprinkles on the way home, the weather was outstanding. I hope everyone had an uneventful return trip. Looking forward to our next gathering!

I'm bummed I couldn't make it. My daughter was equally bummed, she was looking forward to it which is pretty cool. Hopefully next year and hopefully something else pops up near us this year.

I think that I am going to do what you did and have a opel in my lawn day here and see if any one wants to come. I think if I still have my opel I could try and have the people that come to help me with it

and I just wanted to let you know the rust on my car is almost gone.

It would be nice if some moderator could set up a 2006/2007 Colfax event album so we could download our pictures. Apparently this opeler can't do it.

Just wanted to throw my .02 in. Paul and Lezlie do a great job putting this together. They have plenty of room to park the Opels, and Pauls A/Ced workshop is Primo for lunch. Although a little warm it all in all was a great day with good people. All the GTs were nice. Wish we could have had a few of the Mantas there. Connie and I made it a weekend by going over to Terre Haute to see some folks. About 450 mi on the GT and ran great all weekend, A few sprinkles coming and going but no real bad stuff. Weather permitting we'll do it again. Once again Thanks.

Sawdust, I looked in the Gallery and I can't figure out how to set it up either.

I also want to thank Paul and his wife lezlie for hosting a very enjoyable Opel GT gathering. It is always nice to visit with fellow Opelers and learn about how they acquired their GT; along with problems/fixes they have encountered of the years. I hope to host an Opel gathering in my hometown of Brookston, Indiana perhaps this fall when it is cooler. I have lots of respect for all those guys and gals out there that take pride in preserving a very unique sports car as the Opel GT represents. I am proud to once again be the owner of the 71 red Opel GT that I first bought used in high school, sold in 1989, and purchased back in 2005. The car is never leaving its nest again! The loving restoration of another GT is definately in my future. Thanks again Paul. Lets have even more GTs the next time!
