2007 Opel's on the Lawn Event

This years event will be held on Sunday, June 17th from 10:00am to 2:00pm as part of the Larz Andersons museum's German Car Day.

Details from the museum:

June 17 – German Car Day: Sponsored by the local Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Opel and Porsche clubs.
10am to 2pm:
German Car Day brings together various car marques, owners and admirers to share and enjoy each marques similarities and differences. All German cars are welcome regardless of age or condition. With over 150 vehicles in attendance, there is something for every enthusiast. Show highlights include 1957 Porsche Speedster, several pre-war Mercedes-Benz, a pre-war Auto Union and more. Join automobile writer and humorist Ezra Dyer, as he discusses his latest antics for Esquire and Automobile Magazines. From machine gunning a 1984 Cadillac Eldorado to drag racing a Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, Mr. Dyer's stories are sure to make you laugh and rethink what your car can do. Registration is $15 per German show car.

Listen to an enjoyable Steinway Piano Concert in our Anderson Café form 11:00 am to 1:00 PM. Join the Melanoma Foundation of New England at their tent for a free skin damage screening and children’s activity. Registration is $15.00 per car. it was a good time. 5 + 1 Opel's (one did not park on the showfield). Weather was warm but we managed to find a shady spot with a breeze where we could shoot the breeze. Wayne's purple GT took the prize. Photos will be posted.

For those of you who missed this event, Michael Schumacher's 2002 Ferrari Formula 1 car was on display inside the museum. Sweet.

They are located on my camera. I was a little busy last night so I was not able to upload them. Come to think of it, the Carlisle pics are also on there along with the photos of the prep work on my GT and Oly for the Mango photo shoot.
