2007 Cruise the Coast
This past week was the 12th annual Cruise the Coast. This week long show had over 5,000 registered vehicles with and estimated 1,000 un-registered. There were just too many cars and too few days to do it all!
As I was leaving the registration area I saw Dallas's car and finally got to meet him. The car is even better in person! For those of you in the Atlanta area, Dallas was filming for his TV show. Make sure you watch for it. (By the way, please post the video if you can) I also saw another yellow GT on Hwy 49 but never saw it at one of the 5 show areas. I did run into two other member of this site and MANY that were interested in getting a GT. So, look for some new members looking for rides!!
One of the coolest thing about the show was that Dennis Gage was filming for My Classic Car. I had the chance to talk to him and found out the he owns an Opel GT! While on stage for the closing of the show he was asked what he thought some unique cars were that you didn't see too many of and the GT was the first he mentioned!
This would be a great event for the national get together.
