08 Nationals T-shirt Ideas?
I may be opening a can of worms here but since this is everybody's main show of the year, what are your thoughts on a T-shirt design for the 2008 Opel Nationals at Charlotte.
"Phoenix" has volunteered to do a design for us, if he is still interested. (Speak up Phoenix) I think his designs would be more along the lines of "cartoon" type figures. Phoenix, correct me if I am wrong. Last years T-shirt design at Springfield will be very hard to top, if not impossible. John and Connie did a great job with that! So if you have any ideas on this subject, please post them so I can start to get ideas on what you are thinking. Again, this is your show so speak up!

Tony can make them look more realistic, if you want. But, not to copy John's, you can get pics of a GT, Manta, Ascona, and a Kadett, and have them circled around a huge blitz on the back, and Carolina Club and National meet and date kinda small-ish on the front breast pocket area. Just to get the ball, or ideas rolling....

Keep the ideas coming! When you say: Lowe's OPEL Speedway, what do you mean? Instead of Lowe's Motor Speedway, do you mean Lowe's OPEL Speedway? I was thinking about having the different Opels on the shirt as well. Which ones? GT, Kadett, Wagon, Manta....

If you are thinking about doing a "performance" Opel shirt then NASCAR type stuff is out but "rally" type cars are in. I assume there were rallye versions of all of the '70's two door Opel models.
I was going to suggest going through the photo gallery and/or soliciting pictures of members cars for the shirt. Remember Roy that's pictures of CARS we're soliciting not that other thing they said you were doing in Mooresville. ![]() Harold |

I can do anything.
I work in programs that use pictures, so I can do a collague or something just like 4 pics with a few graphics. I also work in programs that use shapes and lines to make up an image. I can go realistic or cartoon in this program but not photo-realistic. I can do a painting or drawing as well. Ideas:
I'll work on designs for it based on suggestions as well as work on a few of my own ideas. I'd really would have trouble describing them. |
