This years event is one week away. There was talk last year about them grouping the cars according to year. This could split us up but at least the main area won't be like a new car lot.

I was hoping to drive the Spyder to this event, but time sneaks up real fast. If I can't get my car ready and registered by next week, I will be there with my buddy, Chris, in his orange California GT. German Car Day will be a great way to spend my first official father's day as a new dad!

I’m sorry to say that we won’t be able to be at OOL this year. We’ve got a Rush concert Sunday night, and there’s simply no way to do both of those things in the same day, so we’ve opted to skip the show this year. We certainly love our Opels (you can tell from the amount of work Erin puts into them each year), but there is NOTHING more enjoyable, NO higher priority for Erin and me, than a Rush concert. It was a tough realization when it dawned on us that both events were on the same day, but the choice was inevitable: Rush.

Next year for sure…

Looks like rain for Sunday possibly. Don't know if I will make it unless it's sunny as I'd probably take my Kawasaki to save fuel.

German Car Day

German Car Day This Sunday June 15th From 10:00AM-2:00PM

Join Us this Sunday for an exciting day filled with the greatest German Car's ever produced from a Gullwing Mercedes, the New McLaren SLR, Porsche's, Audi's, Volkswagen, BMWs, and Opel's Will all descend on the Larz Anderson Auto Museum for a festival of everything German.

All German cars are welcome to register from SUV's to tuner Cars, sports cars, and sedans. Inskip will have some of the latest models on hand for you to look at and sit in. Join us Sunday with your car or come as a spectator.

Spectator Admission is only $10 and Registration to show your vehicle is $20. There will be food, music, and a people's choice award for every make. There are awards to be won so join us this Sunday at the museum and see some of Germany's finest automobiles!
