Thanks Gene, but I have a roof. I just need the driver's door and the rear window. I can't transport the door with me so I will have to get that later. I want to get the window so I can contact a body shop to do the dirty work...

My wife's birthday is Sunday so I will probably have to leave early to get home for that... She can't come because she has a garden club meeting on Saturday and she is the prez... Bummer...

I'm looking for a '75 Manta/Ascona gas tank and a decent Ascona windshield. My windshield is leaking and I don't want to use a new gasket on the scratched windshield.

Bring them along if you would and I'll check them out when I get there. Thanks Harold.

I have an NOS backing plate Harold could take up there-it is for a 50 series...I am assuming that is what you are building. 20.00 takes it and Harold Collins can bring it up there

jgrosh
John Grosh here, in central PA, noting the rainy forecast for Friday. Yes, I will bring parts to the show as always.

This is a list of items that I won't bring unless you tell me you want them.

Ascona doors, one of each side blue, photos available $15 each
Manta trunk lid, red, no photo, nice, only minor dings $35
Automatic transmission (TH180) w/o torque converter, $40
Manta seats, in poor condition, FREE
Manta rims, set of four, $15
set of four alloy rims, 4x100 pattern with 120mm backspace, 14" x 5.5", $80 (I'll bring one for lookers.)

Here are some items that I plan to bring, in any case.

GT front spring, OGTS sport moderate, $70
NOS rear lens, right side, '71-'73 1900 2-dr., $35
NOS head pipe, not GT, not sure what Opel model, $75
Also, starter, alternator, drive shafts (GT and Manta), distributors (all years), GT hand brake, brake vacuum boosters (Manta and GT), GT trans mount, and lots more in the white chick crates.

Here is what I have pertaining to specific requests on this thread. I'll bring the following for you to look at but I don't want to step on the toes of others who said they will also bring one.
Mike, two left headlight buckets
Vickie, shifter
Joe, I have a number of Ascona taillights in my boxes
Gene, I've got the two '73 stamped GT wheels
Elwood, I have good rear GT glass and a door, if we can figure a way to get it to VA
raycemon, I have good GT doors, both sides, and nice hoods. I'm an hour from Carlisle. Perhaps you can stop by and take your pick?
Jordan, pop-out glass and hardware, door trim
Gary, I don't think I have your glass but I'll look. Not the same as Manta, right?
Pete, I'll try to bring the complete GT key set that we talked about last year.

Other parts needs, consult my price sheet at www.blitzparts.opelgt.com.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the show.

Mant seats

John, I can use the Manta seats. Actually I don't need or want the backs of the seats, just the bottoms. I want to use the frames to make "brackets" for adapting aftermarket seats into my Manta like Gene Smith did.

Thanks,
Don McLean
