I've heard Duane called a dog before, but that's not how it was meant.

Unfortunately it does not seem that Lottie and I will be making it down to Plumsteadville this year Lottie is studying for the GRE and I have 2 tests on Monday that I should probably study for. Everyone have a great time and take lots of pictures. Remember someone needs to hound Duane to finish the ascona for the spring, Bob can probably take care of that one.

RallyBob will become famous soon enough
So, I'm confirmed for a motel room on Friday and Saturday. Gregg's coming along too. I would stay later but Gregg has to get back early.

Any chance I can get some Shiner Bock and Yeungling Black & Tans?

Duane, I have the parts you requested. Is there anything else I need to bring along with me? I found a set of rear coil springs I used to run in conjunction with the front springs I already gave you. They're more oriented towards autocross (lots of oversteer). Might make a nice spare set.

Bummer you won't make it.

Don't worry, not only will I harass Duane to finish the car, but there's a chance the newly painted shell will be back in his garage for this week. So we may assemble the suspension to make it a roller this weekend. Sort of a 'community' effort.

What is the schedule for this weekend? I know I have a golf match Saturday morning, but should be along after that. By the way that awesome Optima battery I bought for the Manta died and they replaced it after determining the old one was bad.

I can bring a case of Penn Octoberfest or Yuengling Black and Tan - Which do you guys want?

Jim, please PM me regarding the head pipe if you're still interested. I also have NOS GT 1.9 head pipes if anyone else coming to Duane's is interested and wants to $ave $hipping. I'll need to cut them into two pieces for transport.

Very sorry to hear you and Lottie will not be here as we always enjoy your company, however, I certainly understand the reasoning. You could go to school and get smarter, or, hang around us and get dumber. You've made the right choice.

We'll be thinking of you and will take lots of pics. Actually, I'll assign Shelby to that task as she is quite the little shutter bug.

Sweet! Glad to hear Quaggy will be joining us.

I can certainly get you some Yeungling, but Tom may have to bring the Shiner as it's not available around here.

I think I have pretty much everything I need at this point. Spare springs are always handy to have though. Thanks, looking forward to seeing you guys.

No real schedule Dave, as usual, it's pretty casual. Everyone is welcome to arrive whenever they like. It will likely go on pretty late into the evening as it normally does. This has turned into a 3 day event of sorts with some people arriving on Friday, Saturday being the main day and a smaller gathering on Sunday.

Yes, we can pile the majority of the abuse on him all weekend.

Hmmm, Tom if you read this, any chance you can pick me up some? I should bring down some New England beers as well then, for diversity.

Consider the springs yours then. Never hurts to have a spare set as you said, especially for fine tuning. And it's one less thing in my shop to trip over...

Ha! A wheelbarrow is not enough. All I know is it will need to have a dump body on it and will require a CDL to operate.
