Opel at Queen City Cruise

I took the GT to a local show today. Typically, it was mostly muscle and hot rod, but there were a few imports (and only one Opel )

Lot's of comments on memories of Opels owned and sold etc. I did bump into someone quite close to me with a couple of GT's he is working on getting on the road so that was cool. There was about 340 cars and beautiful sun.

The show was an hour away from me so it was the first long trip with the 2.4 conversion. The car ran well, pull strong and is pretty torquey. I still have idling issues and it diesels a bit after a long run.

It did develop a knocking that I will discuss in another post.

Thanx, that is one mean looking 2+2. I like the engine compartment, it's a lot nicer looking than mine, for sure, with the AC and smog pump I have to run. Of corse the GT is a real looker too. I like the inside hood graphics.
