Looks like fun, but the car show at Cheney seems to be Porsche/VW/Audi, although they do allow European cars in a non-judged show and shine.
There's a German Car Festival in Vancouver, BC on June 28 if anyone feels like a drive across the border: German Car Festival - June 29, 2009B.C. Stars BMW Car Club of BC Participates in German Car Festival (this is out of date!) I know Opels are welcome as I was invited last year by the president of the Mercedes club. cheers, jtb |

I'll most likely be running in their autocross on Sunday. I'd be fun if a few Opels entered. kyle Last edited by Gary; 05-12-2009 at 09:14 PM. Reason: fixed quote bracket |

Oh, I plan on being there in a GT, one way or another.
Either the Opel GT that is in the beginning stages of low budget restoration, or the Mustang GT that is much less embarassing to be seen in. Probably won't be staying the night there because I live close enough to drive there and back each day.

Had lunch with GTRoy today to discuss the trip to Tacoma.
Interstate 5 - Benicia Bridge to Spanaway; 750 miles with 12 1/2 hrs drive time. Maximum Elevation is 4460 ft. Coast Route - Benicia Bridge to Spanaway; 820 miles with 15.5 drive time. Maximum elevation is 2400 ft. Roy - If you still plan on retracing our coast route from last year - take 101 north to Crescent City, then take the Redwoods Hwy (199) northeast to Grants Pass and 5 north into Washington. Here are the elevation profiles of the two routes. |

Hello Everyone, I am trying to keep our site on the main page for just a bit to give all a glance at the events and Schelude for this years 2009 Opel Nationals. We are lucky enough to have been given this year's event. In so doing we have planned a great time for all who will be attending. Please, go ahead and make your reservations for lodging as soon as possible. There are several events that will be held the same time as ours, therefore rooms are not easy to come by. We have posted the lodging sites, web sites for sight seeing along with times and dates. If you may need any help in planning your trip or events,, please get in touch with us by email or phone Opel JohnB
at 253-581-5372. There will be more phone numbers posted closer to the date of nationals. We are hoping that You all will join us for a great 3 day event. All I can say is that today we went on a motor trip and Both Mount Saint Helens and Mount Rainier were out In clear skyes for all to see. Need I say more?
