Fantastastic Show
The Opels on display, though few, were a great hit with the spectators. It was great meeting more fellow Opellers.

It was great seeing Mel, Hans, Vern, Tom, and Rob at Iola this year! After years of being out in the regular post-war show car field, it was really nice being in the theme area center of the show. Mel even got to have his GT in "The Tent" for a day; something some collectors dream of achieving! Not much Opel in the swap area other than literature and two metal Opel Service signs (one priced more than I paid for my first Opel at $900!). Just getting caught up on posting pics, so attached are pics of Mel's GT (stock wheels), Hans' GT (alloys), Vern's restored light blue '73 Rallye, and my "new" '73 deep burgundy Manta Luxus. I've had it about a month now, and am thrilled with it!
