Upcoming OMC events

Hello Fellow Opel owners and members of the OMC,

As you may know the OMC events coordinator responsibilities have been
bestowed upon me.

In that official capacity I am posting this to inform you of
2 upcoming events

One is the 44th annual Fallbrook Vintage Car Show this month,
Sunday May 24th 2009

Events

If anyone is without an Opel car to drive, I have 2 extra cars that can be driven to the show from Lake Elsinore. Drivers pay the $25.00 entry fee and the gas used to get there and back (about $7.00 for gas used)

The next event is in the planning stage for the OMC annual picnic.
I think Saturday August 22nd is a good day, so be it.

This year we are looking for a place in San Diego County to hold this event
I will be contacting the Deer Park Winery in Escondido to see if we can hold it there. We had one there some years ago and it was a HUGE turn out and success. If this Saturday August 22nd picnic cannot be held there, I will look into other Wineries in Temecula Ca. (Riverside county)
I am going to publish this in the San Diego Union Tribune newspaper asap.

Hope all Opel owners and members of the OMC will attend these annual events.

Previous OMC picnic at Deer Park Winery was nice (with lots of shade trees). Never visited any of the Temecula wineries, but you are on the right track.
