Goderich annual classic cars show called “Memories Than and Now” will be held on Saturday, July 18th. This show usually attracts 250-300 cars due to great location. Goderich is just 200 km west from Toronto or 145 miles north-east from Detroit along the shores of Lake Huron. It is known as “The Prettiest Town in Canada”. The town boasts dozens of stores, antique and specialty shops, several beaches and some of the finest restaurants.
The show is held at unique, octagonally shaped downtown, popularly called "The Square". In the heart of the Square is the Huron County Court House and a nice park. This is where the show is held, on the grass in a shade of old trees.
The largest number of cars at the show are American cars but there is also well organized group of British cars. My GT was the only Opel last year and I hope that we can change it this year. My place is just two blocks away and I invite you for a BBQ and refreshment after the show.
Let me know if you are coming and I will secure that all Opels are grouped together.
