German Car day is a spectacular event with Porsche's,Vintage Mercedes, BMW's, Opel's and many beautiful vintage and modern German cars. Come see some of the best autobahn cruisers ever made. There will be music, Food, and all kinds of German Cars. Admission is only $10 adults, $5 seniors,students, children 6-12. Car Registration is $20. I don't think I can make it. Mother In-Law back in hospital and on ventilator in ICU so things are a little stressed for my better half.

Forecast does not look too good. Heavy rain Sat. night into Sunday.

What time is everyone planning to leave their house? So we can make a last minute decision via this thread.

Then again, this is New England and it could be sunny and warm on Sunday......

I am going (fathers day wish) but my GT is not

I have gotten pretty far on it but still a bit of body work to go. I got the engine and auto trans in with a torque converter from a 79 fiat

managed to get the manta trans with the shifter on the wrong side to work despite the alleged clearance issues with the headlight lever. I fabricated a shift lever to cross over the tailshaft and actually used the auto mount from the fiat as well. I am rewiring the headlights right now and then it is on to the body work and interior. It is running and driving right now which is a long way from where it was a month ago.

What a difference a day makes! The forecast is much better.

Dennis (NHOpel) and I should be getting there between 9:00 and 9:30.
