Parts at Carlisle

I reserve 2 vendor spots for selling Opel parts. They are located in the vendor field Row J, Site J-35 and J-36. I do not use the entire space and save much of it for people who want to sell parts but do not have enough to sell to warrant spending $65.00 for a space. (Most people will kick something toward the space fee when their parts sell.) It ends up being a central place to buy, sell, and swap Opel parts.

Carlisle frowns upon the selling of parts and For Sale signs in the showfield. Use discretion if you are selling parts out of your trunk.

Post your parts requests here. If I don't have it maybe someone else will.

parts

Jared, if I dont find what I need I will be calling on someone for parts for sure. My stepson is 15 and I want to start him on an opel soon. Hopefully he will drive it more carefully than the ones I totalled when I was younger. Gary, if you read this, do you have a preference of lager or black and tan? It's on me for running this site. See you in a week.

I've only had the lager. Guess I'll *have* to try a black and Tan...

"Yuengling" comes in a variety sample case also. It has 4 different six packs of there different brews. It's very good. For those that didn't know, beer is bought by the case (24 bottles or cans) in PA. You can't buy individual bottles or six packs at stores like in the other states. "Appalachian" is another local Harrisburg brew that is very good & can be bought in a variety case. I'll bring one of those.

See you next week,
~ Tom C.

Ascona parts

Joe;
You might want to specify on the gas cap, do you want the body colored one or the chrome locking one? One is far more ex$pe$ive than the other

I'm looking for a Weber carb also, so if JerseyOpel does't want it, I might be interested. I'll be at Carlisle, so I'll be taking a look at what Gary brings...
When I used to race sailboats, we often exchanged advice for beer... Glad that holds true in Opeling as well - what kind of beer do the Carb and brakes experts prefer???

GT parts

I have many parts for GT's including glass, gas tank, one fair dash, two floor boards, and assorted bits and pieces, I don't want to bring too many things that I will not be able to get rid of. I do have a brand new weber electric choke bought it to put on old GT, old GT had so many problems I bought a deffrent GT and it already had a Weber on it, I don't know what a good price would be, but I will bring it.

If anybody is interested in fuel injection parts, I have them. Just took them off my '75 Ascona. Let me know so I can arrange to bring them to Carlisle. I'm still looking for common parts for my Ascona so a trade for these parts would be likely.

I'd like to know if the preformed rubber hoses that connect the Auxilary Air Valve to the intake are any good. One of mine is an original to my 75 Manta. I won't be at Carlisle, but I'd pay you to ship.

Thanks

I don't have that item. Most rubber on this is rotted, one of the reasons I wanted to ditch the set-up
