from what i can find out the german cars on the lawn day is june 18th

One and the same. German car day is when the Opel club meets, June 18th this year.

Always in June. The past few years it has been on Father's Day.

We should attend this year again, we really enjoyed it last year. (I'll be Opel-less again this year, but she should ready to run there in '07!) Plus it's fathers day - THEY don't have a choice!

I'll be there. I believe Gregg (Samdog) is going too. Duane (MantAscona) is driving all the way up from PA with his Manta for this event. Plus Gary makes four.

I would love to go, but I'm leaving again for the west coast tomorrow. The timing of national/regional Opel meets just worked out better for me last year. I'll be at the OMC picnic this August for sure, though!

Have fun, Gary! I foresee the turnout will be better than in recent years.

I'll bring my GT up if I don't have anything else going on that day. Maybe it will give me a chance to put some faces with names from the site. I was a little anti-social at Carlisle this year.

Good response. Let's get some more. Wayne Torman usually brings his purple GT and his original paint GT. Looks like my '72 wagon will be making it's debut.

Correction, parts for 5...no make that about 8 and three cars still at the house now. Soon to be only one car and parts for about 8.

No, no pictures of the dismembered car, it wasn't pretty and I didn't want record of the carnage.

Will probably tear in to the last GT next weekend and I would still like to find the Wagon another home as a whole.

The Wagon is FREE please come take it away!!!!

Father's day is a bad time for me. My Dad and I are real close and he always brings his Buick to the Father's Day cruise in Hyannis. I got much heat from the family from a few years ago when I skipped town and went to Brookline. My only hope is that dad is looking for something different to do this year. We'll see.

Don't worry... we're in! Still have to get a battery for the purple one (again) and both cars still have to be "Erinized", but I'm sure we'll be ready in time! ;-) Gary - are we doing breakfast this year?

Not going to make it this year, too much going on. Still need to dismantle cars before my mother disowns me. I also just graduated from college and as of yesterday got a new job which created several new things I need to tend to now. I will mark the date on the calender for next year when things will hopefully be a little slower.
