Arizona Opel Meet

Any Arizona Opelers up for an OPEL get together next weekend. I'm in from
NY for 12 days and know there are some other Opelers out here I've met Paul and his Wife from Yuma and one other Opeler At OMC 25 and would love to see you guys again and meet all the others folks that I haven't yet met. I have the Black GT and you can also check out the 1900 that is being restored here. I can Host and would be glad to do so or I can travel if that works better. I live off of I-17 and Bell road in NW Phoenix.

I have the Black GT , the Datsun 2000 Roadster as well as the 72 Maverick Street/Strip and the 500 HP Ford F150 Lightning at the house.. My Ascona is in Chandler.
I'm having Opel trouble (again) after I washed the car and put it in the garahge before heading to the Scottsdale show the Ignition/steering locked and I can't unlock it. I guess I'll be working on the steering column to before I can do anything else.

I'm driving back to PHX this week .. taking my Chevy S-10 w/ my Honda GB500 (Tourist Trophy) in the bed .. I have 2 Opels there and a 69 Datsun SPL Roadster. so until those are up and running reliably I won't bring another unfinished car out.
I'm hoping to see some of the ARIZONA Opelers over the next few weeks as well as maybe stopping along the way .. I'm thinking maybe someplace in TEXAS? I even get out to California ..via Yuma AZ..... So, when's the monthly meeting???
My route is NY to Wisconsin then on to Phoenix by heading south from Wisconsin rather than come across the northern USA and then heading south thru Colorado, Utah and Nevada..which would be fine if it were summer..
I really do intend to take the Targa across the country but not this time..

I arrived a week ago and have had great weather but my Black GT's ignition is shot.. I even brought my spare aftermarket ignition switch that is wired into a spare white connector so I could just plug and go..or so I thought.. Now I'm thinking that maybe the starter is also part of the problem. perhaps just a dead spot requiring a tap with my hammer?.. When I resolve that issue I really must rewire the lights...
I'm using a neighbord pc since I have no interenet access from my house..
