I like black wheels with a polished rim! The car and black wheels look better in person BUT if it were MY car I think I would be sick that I didn't follow his advice.

Guess I'll be contrary and say I've seen yellow cars with black wheels and
like the look. Like Harold, I bet it looks better outside in the sun and in person.

Great Job!
Nice work Keith! I can't believe two years have gone by so quickly - although it probably seems a lot longer to you! I think the car turned out great. The owner even snagged the "OPEL GT" vanity plate for the state of Oklahoma - what luck
. Will he be joining the site here now?I do have one question: once the car is warmed up, what is the typical reading on the Oil TEMP gauge? Just curious as I still haven't found time to install mine but it would be good to know in advance what a typical reading for that gauge should be. Congratulations! Matt

Oil temp gauge is slow to climb, but if I remeber correctly it was about at the 3rd bar which is 100celcius. I do not like the sensor that comes with it. I've had a problem with it leaking there, and couldn't get it to seal properly. So you might have an issue here. It comes with a copper washer, but doesn't seem to help much.
