Ms. Opel was purring like a kitten at 70 mph when she turned 20,000 original miles at mile post 069 on I 275 just west of downtown Cincinnati yesterday.

That's too cool Tom. It was running really smooth when I got the ride in her a couple of years ago. Darn, she must lead a sheltered life, having only 20K on the clock. Congrats on having a really sweet ride.

Still under factory warranty, lol.

Although if I remember right it was only 12 months or 12,000 miles back then, not 40 years or 20,000 miles!

Ms. Opel and I wish to express our sincere appreciation to all your comments to date, written and unwritten. We are thinking like a country song says "What are we going to do the next 20,000 miles?" I guess we will just have to go along for the ride after all I am just 24 years older than Ms. Opel. After her last Carlisle trip, we all know she ain't no virgin anymore.

Also, we are going to miss you in Springfield Gary.

As someone said or should have said " Family first (without exception), your livelihood $econd (with a few exceptions) and then your Opels (with only time and money as exceptions and even these are open for debate).
