Gt Love

I finally fixed a few "open write-ups" on my GT. It now does not leak gas, has working headlamps, and proper seatbelts. So I drove it to church on sunday, and it was a BLAST. R-Bobs 2.0 street motor is a great combo, of all the Opels I have had over the years, NONE of them really did much when I floored them over 60 mph, this one, well, it does 100 really fast, its scary! Anyway, if there are any folks in Nor Cal that want to go canyon strafing over a weekend, I'm up for it now (Chris!).....All my friends say the back of my car looks great!

OH I need a rear view mirror (to see you with! Ha Ha)with a mount if you have one, as well as a side mirror, anyone want to part with a few extras?

Hello
Can you detail what the "combo" you are using?

Its all detailed in the R bob street combo post, search the site to find all the details, I can't remember, but basics are 2.0 L with 265 pistons, isky combo cam (he recommends something different, head= 1.72 intake, 1.5 exh, ported the snot out of the intake, made my own "sprint" manifold by cutting off the stove top, big exhaust tubing custom cut by yours truly. And all I can say is, thanx to Rbob who came up with this "combo" because it works fantastic, and is a sheer blast to drive....so much so, I really have safety concrns now because who wants to be doing 90+ in a gt on the freeway???? Not a good idea unless you have gone through the suspension, and i have not, but in town, it is smokin!

Hey, Neil, I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying your GT!
Now, tell us how you like flying high. That's gotta be quite a thrill.
Get some nice photos if Iran for us if you get a chance...
