Broken Windshield

I had a very productive day working on my GT. My son was working on another project for me and and accidently broke my stored GT windsheild in the shop. I think he was more sick than myself. Anyhow it was a flawless tinted one and its now ruined. Reading many old posts about windsheilds, I never found any newer ones than around 2005. There seemed to be a mfg. LO-CAN : England source that had faulty ones for sale. Does anyone know of a recent good source. Somewhere I remember something about a new replacement source. I have not checked with my local glass dealers. I read where Saxybiker found one and got it installed. Any member with recent ideas for a replacement would be helpful.

I've seen them pop up on eBay now and then - maybe two or three times this year. If you don't need it right away, you might create a search on eBay and have eBay email you every time a match is found. With any luck, one will pop up before you need it. Of course, in parallel, I would search for another source.

A few years back I gave a good, original GT windshield to Lo-Can for use as a model for a new run of windshields as their old mold was no longer making good ones. I was told it would be sent "out of the country" (India) for reproduction. Evidently that batch was also defective. Something with the lower edge bowing out too much. Lo-Can was bought out shortly after that and closed their MA shop.
