First day out
I took her out for a short trip to Bayfield. The engine was purring, the heater kept pleasant temperature inside, put some John Denver CD and drove slowly. Few people beside the road gave me the thumb up. Stopped for a minute to take a snapshot. Life is good. |

Feels good, no? Great looking GT, wait, they're all great looking!
I had a good day too, 10" of snow yesterday but sun today, roads dried up, I managed to pull the dash cluster, recalibrate the speedo, fix some errant wiring , button it up and go for a test drive, way more than I planned on, nice when you don't break things and it's a job you've done a few times, goes so fast the 5th time around.

Clear skies here, but too much slush and salt on the roads.Great looking GT. Love the colour! I've gone camping at Grand Bend and driven up to Goderich and it is a beautiful town.

First Day Out 2008
Hey, I too just got my GT out of storage in the garage. Been a long sleep for my GT and she all rested up for Cruising. I just can't believe how cold it is here, but somehow the color yellow just brings out the bugs (insects) pretty funny. I think seasonal weather here on the East Coast just makes you appreciate your Opel GT even more.
