Hob nobbing with the Porsches...

I decided to let the GT park with the Porsches at work today. They were having quite a debate as I was walking away. My German is rusty but I think the Opel was trying to convince the Porsches that real sports cars have carburetors or something! I don't think the Porsches were buying it though...

Groß-Gerau . . .

I see that your front Euro plate starts with "GG" . . . Groß-Gerau, area south of Frankfurt, if I recall?

Right - I went with that based on a few period photos of real German plates on the front of Opel GTs. It was between that and BO for Boschum (sp?) where the factory is located. I got the plate from "Europeanplates.com LLC Retail- Internet - Wholesale". Dieter laughs every time he sees it. Apparently in Germany I would be arrested for such a thing...
