My Favorite Sports Car

I built an Opel GT back in the late 70's. I found an abused 1973 and started from the ground up. Parts were tough to find so I started buying up every derelict GT I found. Ended up buying 8 of them over a period of 10 years. I started a mail order used parts business in my spare time....Oh to have had the internet back then! Life changed and the GT had to go. Saw 5 GT's rusting away in a field last week. Made me sad...............

Welcome! You can go back in time and recapture the fun! Just find yourself a GT to restore and take advantage of all the parts suppliers and the Internet and eBay and all the other modern conveniences that exist which will make it far easier than what you experienced in the late '70s.
