Works very well.
Those are almost identical to the ones I made last year. They works very good, and are very safe. I also made pieces of wood to block the wheel in both directions (forward and backward).

Yep! That's the only fault I see with these as well. There needs to be a provision for preventing the car from rolling backwards off the ramp.

If you look in the pictures you can see a black wheel chock that is added after the car is on the ramps.

Yes, I realize there is a wheel chock used, but it's not included in the construction (see pic). An additional wood "hump" on the top flat piece could serve the same purpose. Notice that not all the pictures show a wheel chock installed.

Very true Todd, one would hope that people would realize that they need to scotch their cars when they work on them. I always do. I had a truck try to run away once and that cured me.
Even changing oil in the Opel, I never rely on just the floor jack, I always put jackstands under each side, the a wheel chock behind the rear tire. One can't be too careful. Jarrell

If you put a another hump on the top flat piece, aren't you afraid to hit the front block too hard if you gun it a bit to get over the back hump? Any concerns about the back end whipping up and hitting the rockers? I agree with Jarrell, chocking the back wheels would provide extra assurance that the car won't roll back.
