Flywheel hold tool
I made one years ago, but can't help you with another one . . . lost my machine shop contact . . . retired and moved. Mine is designed to work off the bellhousing alignment dowel though . . .

If you got a damaged spare flywheel you can probably. make one your self [ and even a lot more
], just by cutting a piece out and drilling a hole in the cut out piece

. . . the flywheel ring gear is heat shrunk to the OD of the flywheel . . . make one cut and the entire ring gear is loose on the flywheel!

Flywheel
I think what he maens is to take an old one and basically destroy it to make the tool out of a piece of the old ring gear. Basically cut out a 2 inch section, drill a hole in it and attach it to a piece of stock to make it work. Not drill or cut on the one you are using

Flywheel Locking Tool
The ones I have seen are very simple bits of flat steel about 3/16" thick - easily made from flat bar with drill, hacksaw & file - shaped like pic below.
Mount on bellhousing bolt to the left looking at flywheel for undoing flywheel bolts and to the right when tightening them so that it locks in place. HTH

, Otto a little more imagination please , as a good craftsman, we all are a bit, we just weld the flywheel ring gear with a few welds to the flywheel to keep the ring gear in place than weld the part you want to use, solid to each other, and cut it out
